Lillie's Gift is a scholarship program dedicated to supporting individuals who are pursuing a career in a mental health-related field. We aim to create opportunities for those who demonstrate the same spirit of giving that Lillie exemplified, ensuring that her light continues to shine through the support we offer.
Meet the Selection Committee
Once the application process has closed, applications will be anonymized to remove applicant's name and contact information and sent to an independent team of non HWS Best Health Counseling employees for review and selection.
Luci Workman
Senior Procurement Strategist
Luci Workman is a Vice President and Senior Procurement Strategist in KeyBank’s Procurement organization where she manages a portfolio of over 250 contracts and $40MM in annual spend. Luci is responsible for growing critical relationships with business partners, conducting third party negotiations, leading RFPs/RFIs and executing contracts which mitigate risk and drive value for the bank.

Since joining KeyBank in 2003, Luci has held several roles in Talent Acquisition and Procurement, including Executive Recruiter and Recruiting Manager. She has helped shape KeyBank’s diversity recruiting strategy, including the launch of KeyBank’s Autism@Work program in 2019.

Luci is a co-National Leader of KeyBank’s Champions of Persons with Disabilities KBING (ERG) and was part of the team that accepted several Leading Disability Employer Seal awards for the
bank via the National Organization on Disability. Career highlights include acceptance of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion KeyBank leadership award in 2020, the YWCA Woman of Professional Excellence in 2017, Crain's Archer Leadership in Diversity award in 2016, and the KeyBank Chairman's Diversity Leadership Award in 2015.
She is an active member of her church where she serves as a volunteer Job Coach to assist members who are in employment transition. Luci earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kent State University. She and her husband reside in Streetsboro, OH with their teenage daughter.
Elena is a Practice Liaison at Diverge Health, Inc, responsible for helping primary care physicians execute processes that drive improved patient engagement, outcomes, and quality objectives. With over 30 years in healthcare, Elena has managed patient care delivery in numerous sites across the U.S. and in multiple settings including primary care, inpatient care (Maternity Services), outpatient surgery, and as Director of Affinity Wound Center.
She is passionate about improving healthcare for some of our most vulnerable patients and removing social barriers to both physical and mental health care. She is excited to support clinicians by enhancing practice resources, fostering patient outreach - thus driving better patient outcomes.
Elena holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Purdue, and an undergraduate degree is Business/Marketing from Penn State. She has lent her talents and labor to programs such as Toys for Tots and as a loaned executive with United Way.

Rebecca "Beckie" Henning, a graduate of Perry High School in 1969 and beauty school in 1969, has dedicated much of her life to both her family and her community. She married Tom Henning in 1970, and together, they raised three children, Shelly, Amy, and Tim. Throughout her time as a mother, Beckie remained deeply committed to giving back, volunteering at various organizations. Tom passed away in 2016 and since then, has spent time honoring his military service through different organizations.
Beckie started out as a beautician and continued on this journey while also working as a hostess and gift shop manager at Grinder’s restaurant for 13 years. Following her work at Grinder’s, Beckie worked as the activity director at Heather Ridge in North Canton working with the memory care residents. Additionally, Beckie spent 20 years as a volunteer at Aultman Hospital. Beckie serves on the board at the Massillon Eagles, further demonstrating her commitment to making a difference in her community.

Beckie is a proud grandmother of five and a great-grandmother to one. She enjoys attending and cheering on her grandkids’ sporting events. Outside of her volunteer and family life, she enjoys working in her yard and flowers. Her love for nature and gardening is matched only by her passion for traveling with her friends, seeking new adventures and making lasting memories with her family.
Beckie is looking forward to being on this committee to help select the recipient of Lillie’s Gift.
Shawn Wilson is an Ohio attorney with over 25 years of experience helping businesses large and small with their legal problems. Shawn received a BA in Criminal Justice with honors from Ohio Northern University in 1990. She then attended the Maxine Goodman Levin School of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University for her MPA, while serving as a graduate and research assistant in 1991. Shawn later attended the Cleveland State University College of Law and received her JD in 1998 and was admitted to the Ohio bar that same year.
Shawn started her career with the professional liability firm of Rogers & Co., LPA and focused on the practice of errors and omissions litigation, as well as director’s and officer’s litigation. She then joined the firm of Davis & Young and spent the next several years litigating insurance defense cases that ranged from personal injury to catastrophic loss, including wrongful death claims. Shawn was also the complex commercial claims litigation counsel for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Prior to joining Arnold Gruber, Shawn was a business, real estate and commercial​

litigation attorney for the firm of Gertsburg Licata. Additionally, Shawn has ten years of experience volunteering in recovery communities, helping individuals battling addiction and alcoholism. Her role includes coordinating online and in person recovery recourses, meetings and workshops.
